The dashboard & customization refresh — public showcases, plan comparisons and security controls
Dashboard UI & UX
- •The member dashboard has a cleaner grouped sidebar, rounded workspace surfaces, clearer headings and descriptions, and an updated top bar, while keeping 7th.lol's existing colors and fonts.
- •Overview now has an enclosed account-summary panel: page-live status, large profile URL, Copy link and Share actions, member identity, and a connected strip for user ID, total views, live links and plan.
- •Setup actions, quick links, analytics summaries and existing account tools remain available on Overview. The dashboard search helps locate settings without hunting through every tab.
- •Dashboard sections are organized into Profile, Design, Content, Connections, Tools, Settings and Addons. Phone navigation wraps cleanly and the workspace supports compact spacing.
Moved settings — where to find them
- •Dashboard theme has moved off Overview to Settings → Preferences → Dashboard theme. Choose the existing Purple, Halloween or Christmas dashboard look.
- •Settings → Preferences now also contains compact spacing, reduced dashboard motion and navigation-description controls. These comfort preferences stay in that browser and do not change your public profile.
- •Profile privacy is available in Settings → Preferences: public/hidden page, view-count visibility, location visibility, Discord visibility and guestbook visibility, plus private-page passcode controls.
- •Account protection is now grouped under Settings → Security. Invite and Support also remain in Settings.
- •PRO Features has moved from Addons to Design → PRO Features. Get PRO, gifting, the Shop, rare usernames and donations remain in Addons.
- •Public bio styling remains in Design → Appearance, not Dashboard theme. Appearance is organized into Theme & font, Layout, Background, Colours, Name, Effects, Cursor, Splash screen, Sounds, Music player and Extras.
Customization & live choice previews
- •Design → Appearance → Layout now has a large browsable showcase with previous/next arrows, pagination dots, layout names, descriptions and clear Selected / Use this layout / Requires PRO states.
- •Layouts include free centered, compact, minimal, split and sidebar designs, alongside premium choices such as Music Lounge, Retro OS and Portfolio. Premium previews do not unlock paid layouts.
- •Font samples, avatar shapes, original avatar decorations, cursor styles, pixel companions and cursor trails now have visual samples before selection.
- •Display-name styles, profile/component borders and background patterns show examples of their appearance. Name, avatar and badge choices remain in their relevant Profile, Badges and Appearance controls.
- •Particle previews use the shared particle artwork; page entrances, hover effects, bio/status animations and ambient float, pulse, moving-background and glow-wave effects now show motion samples.
- •Splash layout, entrance, text-effect and overlay choices now show previews. Music visualizer styles also show animated bars, pulse or wave examples.
- •Premium samples stay visible as previews with plan locks where appropriate. Dashboard/sample animations respect reduced-motion preferences.
Customization catalog — current choices
- •Design → Appearance → Layout: Centered, Compact, Minimal, Split and Clean Sidebar are free. PRO choices are Retro OS, Music Lounge, Glass, Wide, Profile Card, Terminal, Showcase Rail, Stacked Spotlight, Compact Grid, Portfolio, Editorial and Link Gallery.
- •Design → Appearance → Background → Particles: Snow, Stars, Sparkles, Embers, Bubbles, Rain, Fireflies, Confetti, Hearts, Petals, Ash, Matrix rain, Meteors, Neon dust, Code drift, Floating runes and Falling leaves, plus None. These animated particle scenes require PRO.
- •Background pattern/overlay choices include Dots, Grid, Diagonal, Checker, Scanlines, Drifting grid, Film grain, Rain on glass and Light sweep. The selector identifies which choices require PRO.
- •Original avatar decorations include Kitty Ears, Fox Ears, Bunny Ears, Little Devil, Angel Halo, Royal Crown, Headphones, Flower Crown, Spring Vines, Hot Head, Sparkles, Snow Cap, Witch Hat, Mushroom Patch, Night Bats, Butterflies and Heart Clips. Avatar decorations require PRO.
- •Avatar silhouette choices include circle, rounded, square, diamond, octagon, squircle, shield, ticket and arch. Pixel companion choices include cat, dog, dinosaur, fox, bunny, ghost, frog, bat, crow, slime, robot, skull, pistol, revolver and ray gun.
- •Splash layouts include Centered, Terminal, Access panel, Split identity, Lower third, Identity card, Entry ticket and Spotlight caption. The basic Centered entry is free; extended layouts require PRO.
- •Animated borders include Breathing glow, Color flow and Marching edge. Advanced cursor trails include dots, sparkles, comet and ribbon alongside halo. Music visualizers preview bars, pulse and wave.
- •Expanded free and PRO font/name/animation collections now show live examples. The current selector and Free vs PRO comparison show accurate available choice counts instead of old fixed totals.
Badges — presentation controls
- •Profile → Badges has a refreshed badge catalog and ownership overview, with clearer locked/earned information while preserving the existing brand colors and fonts.
- •Five badge placements: beside the display name, under the display name, under the handle, at the card bottom or in the top corner. Visual samples show each placement.
- •Reorder owned badges using drag controls or arrows. Choose Icons for compact tiles, Chips for labeled badges, or No background for a minimal look.
- •Existing PRO per-badge controls remain: individual colors, shapes and surfaces, plus a PRO-only glow toggle. Styling changes never award badges or change eligibility.
- •Existing profiles retain their legacy badge presentation unless changed. Public layouts share the same badge-placement and order rules.
Main website — Features, Addons & comparisons
- •Homepage → Features replaces the short setup list with 20 visual feature collections spanning Design, Content, Connections, Community and Tools.
- •Feature-category filters and search help locate music, countdowns, layouts, gaming, privacy, sharing and creator tools. Each collection has a visual sample and an explained feature list.
- •The public Addons page at /pro now has an animated upgrade display and a preview for each of its eight product/service collections: Shop, Verified Badge, Lifetime PRO, Image Hosting, Custom Domain, View Transfer, File Sharing Unlimited and Rare Usernames.
- •The Shop is no longer described as entirely coming soon. It links to the cursor and companion catalog; individual availability and prices are controlled by the admin catalog.
- •Homepage and Addons now share a 54-feature Free vs PRO comparison across six categories, with feature-specific icons, explanations and clearly distinguished plan columns.
- •Comparison search, category filters and Only differences make the list easier to scan. Choice counts follow the current customization catalogs rather than outdated fixed totals.
- •The comparison now includes language/time, private passcodes, badge placement, expanded free fonts, video backgrounds, countdowns, companions, Friends, shared pages, vouches, tips, storefront, QR exports, dashboard preferences and desktop access.
- •Separate addon purchases are clearly distinguished from PRO. PRO does not include every shop item, a verified badge, own-domain connection or unlimited file sharing.
Public roadmap & account-page updates
- •Homepage → Roadmap opens 7th.lol's original animated command board with a pulsing spine, month beacons, mission cards, subtle perspective movement and scan effects.
- •Roadmap search and filters help browse planned work. Administrators can edit upcoming titles, explanations, dates, order and visibility in the admin roadmap editor; hidden items stay out of public responses.
- •The recently refreshed login/signup pages keep the existing logo, fonts and colors, with clearer form grouping and password-visibility controls.
- •Homepage → Try the sandbox opens a public mock dashboard with live profile customization, desktop/phone previews, splash preview and reset. Demo edits never save to member profiles or grant PRO.
Recent customization & creator-feature recap
- •Profile → Language: choose an optional language from the searchable selector; it appears beside public location, website and views with a language icon.
- •Content → Widgets → Countdown: set an event title and target date/time. Visitors count down to the same UTC instant and the timer stops at zero.
- •Content → Widgets → Tip Jar: link Cash App, PayPal and Venmo, plus supported crypto addresses visitors can copy. Content → Widgets → Storefront: display up to eight products or services with external buy/contact links.
- •Overview → Friends: mutually accepted friends appear on public profiles. Shared pages show two accepted members at /name1/name2, side by side on desktop and stacked on phones.
- •Overview → Share kit: customize/export a QR code and profile banners. Design → Appearance → Theme & font includes PRO font uploads in TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 formats.
- •Design → Appearance → Background supports images, GIFs and uploaded videos up to 200MB, plus direct video, YouTube/Vimeo links and the Discord background library. Playback depends on browser format support.
- •More free avatar shapes, fonts and original pixel companions include animals, robots and pixel gun designs. Premium avatar decorations remain original 7th.lol art.
- •Music Lounge uses a left song library, central player and link covers; Retro OS uses vintage windows for music, links and widgets. Both remain PRO layouts.
- •Overview includes the 7th.lol.exe download. The desktop package includes the themed title bar; Windows may warn because it is unsigned, and Windows-specific behavior is not confirmed on a Windows PC.
Addon access & purchase reminders
- •Addons → 7th.lol Shop: the imported collection includes 20 cursors and 117 companion sprites. Purchase enabled items through card checkout, then Apply or Remove owned items. Admin → Shop Pricing controls individual/bulk pricing and sale availability.
- •Addons → Rare usernames: reserved names cost $1.99 and are assigned after successful payment. Member listings are capped at $5 and arranged directly with the seller, outside 7th.lol checkout.
- •Profile → Badges: the separate $10.99 Verified Badge purchase unlocks an original diamond mark after successful payment; it is not included with PRO.
- •Tools → Image host, Custom domain and View transfer open the respective services. View Transfer costs $1.99, requires private ownership proof and staff review; it is not an automatic unverified counter increase.
- •Tools → File sharing supports five files on the standard allowance, up to 1GB each; the separate $5 Unlimited addon removes the file-count limit. Hash-based malware reports are not a guarantee that a file is safe.
- •Lifetime PRO and selected addon prices may have active sales. Current checkout/catalog pricing takes precedence; there is no recurring PRO subscription.
Security & privacy updates
- •Settings → Security now includes an email-change request, two-factor status summaries and an authenticator-removal flow that requires a valid authenticator code.
- •Existing Security tools remain together: change your password with current-password verification, enroll an authenticator using a six-digit code, review recent browser activity, sign out other sessions or sign out everywhere. Email changes require the relevant email confirmations.
- •Clear saved accounts removes remembered sign-ins from the current device's account switcher; it does not claim to sign every device out of your account.
- •Hidden profiles now show This profile is private instead of suggesting the username is unclaimed. Owners can set, replace or remove an optional four-digit access code.
- •Private-page codes are hashed, not stored as readable codes. Unlock attempts are rate-limited: eight per visitor per five minutes, and forty per page per ten minutes.
- •Existing protections remain: badge ownership and protected account fields cannot be granted by appearance edits; paid customization requires ownership; PRO settings are enforced in saving/rendering; admin roadmap edits require an admin role.
- •This release refreshes security controls and privacy presentation; it does not claim an attack-proof site or a newly completed security audit. Email confirmation delivery, authenticator removal and successful private-code unlock still need account-specific end-to-end verification.
Bug fixes & corrected behavior
- •Capitalized usernames are normalized so affected profiles no longer fail the lowercase lookup.
- •Fixed misleading unclaimed-page text for hidden profiles; they now display the private-page state.
- •Friends bar rendering was moved outside layout-specific content so accepted friends can appear across profile designs, including Music Lounge.
- •Share kit QR artwork no longer overlaps its controls. Higher-contrast defaults, contrast adjustment and a smaller center avatar improve readability; generated output passed a decoder check, but phone-camera scanning was not independently confirmed.
- •Earlier badge, Discord and appearance save issues were repaired, along with inactive desktop/phone live-preview controls. The dashboard refresh preserves the existing save behavior.
- •Missing particle/effect/splash samples now preview before selection. Premium ambient samples no longer disappear when free-mode filtering hides paid controls.
- •The account summary is enclosed again with compact actions and a connected stats strip. Tested public and dashboard views avoid horizontal overflow at phone widths.
- •Seasonal decorations remain behind main-page content, not on top of readable text, and moving effects are disabled for reduced-motion visitors.
